Approximately, 268,600 Americans are diagnosed with Breast Cancer each year, and 30% will eventually develop Stage IV. 6% of first time Breast Cancer patients are already Stage IV when first diagnosed. Patients diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer, on average, live 18-36 months after diagnosis, killing, 41,000 men and women each year.

Despite these statistics, only 2-5% of research dollars are focused on the treatment for patients with stage IV Breast Cancer.

Seven Mountains Media and the City of Altoona present the 2024 “Spirit of Christmas Parade”!  Join us on Saturday, December 7th as we welcome non-profits, area businesses and organizations, and our local marching bands and dance groups to downtown Altoona!  The Parade route will start on the corner of 17th Street and 9th Avenue as we make our way through the downtown area, ending on 16th Street.  Registration is now open if your group or organization would like to join in this community event.
